Performance
Performance-wise, the all-new 2023 BMW 3-Series is powered by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-four cylinder engine that produces 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the 3-Series, but all-wheel drive is available as an option.
The 3-Series can go from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 5.5 seconds. It has a low center of gravity and a 50/50 weight distribution. Cerritos drivers will love that the engine quality is enhanced by the use of two twin-scroll turbochargers, which are located in the V of the cylinder bank. This allows for a more efficient flow of exhaust gases and increased power output.
Interior and Exterior Design
The exterior of the 3-Series has been completely redesigned, with a new front fascia, LED headlights and taillights and a sleek profile. The exterior features a reshaped grille, new headlights and a rear spoiler. The Sport trim features 18-inch wheels, the Luxury trim features 19-inch wheels and the M Sport trim features 20-inch wheels. The Slim LED headlights and fog lights are standard on the Luxury and M Sport trim, while the Sport trim features LED headlights.
The interior of the 3-Series features high-quality materials and state-of-the-art technology. The interior design features include:
- A new instrument cluster.
- An updated iDrive system.
- A new infotainment system consisting of two 12.3-inch displays and a new touchpad controller.
Additionally, the interior of the 3-Series features a new center console, updated seats and a new steering wheel to enhance your driving experience anywhere around Pico Rivera. The speakers fitted as standard. A 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system is available as an upgrade.
Technology and Safety
The all-new 2023 BMW 3-Series features a host of new safety and driver-assistance technologies. These include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind spot detection and parking assistance for safe and effortless driving through Whittier. The 3-Series features active pedestrian protection, detecting pedestrians in the vehicle's path and automatically applying the brakes.
The Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation braking is standard, and it helps you avoid or at least mitigate frontal collisions by warning you and automatically applying the brakes when an upcoming collision is detected.
The standard lane departure warning system can also help to avoid or mitigate accidents by alerting the driver when the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane. An active blind spot detection system is also standard and can help to avoid accidents on the highway outside Lakewood by alerting the driver when another vehicle is in the 3-Series' blind spot.
