Please contact our service center technicians to get more information about your specific circumstances.

Where can I find BMW service specials near LA?

Easy! You can find them right here on our website in our list of service specials. At McKenna BMW, we work hard to build long-lasting relationships with our LA neighbors by offering competitive prices and select deals, and offering specials on certain services, accessories, and other maintenance items is just one of the many ways that we help you to keep a little extra change in your pocket

Are BMW models expensive to maintain?

Starting with the 2017 model year, new BMW models come with 3-year/36,000-mile No Cost Scheduled Maintenance, taking the burden out of those routine service appointments for the first few years. But just as with any vehicle, depending on the model, year the vehicle, and the particular repairs needed, certain services will be more expensive than others once you're outside of your warranty period.

What does 'BMW Service Engine Soon' light mean?

This light means the vehicle's system has found a problem ranging from excess air intake to a loose fuel cap, and nearly anything in between; it's essentially a "something is wrong" light, and it's a great indicator that you might want to schedule a service appointment immediately.

What's involved in BMW routine maintenance?

A lot of different things are checked during routine maintenance, though the specifics will change depending on your vehicle's mileage. Every 10,000 miles or 12 months, you'll get safety and oil service to change your oil and oil filter, and check the brakes, horn, indicator lights, steering linkage, and much more. At the first 30,000 miles and every 60,000 miles thereafter, you'll get the same services as the 10,000-mile/12-month inspections along with things like verifying engine temperatures, checking the exhaust system for leaks and positioning, examining tires for wear and tread, reading the diagnostics system, checking the air conditioner, and much more. There's also a 60,000 mile service that happens every 60,000 thereafter, and includes a more thorough dive into your vehicle than the 30K service. As you might be realizing, there's much more to this so, if you're interested in all the specifics, give our service center a call.

What service is included in BMW's New Vehicle Warranty?
